Noah Lomax is an American actor who began working while he was still a child. He was born on November 7, 2001, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and later moved with his family to Atlanta when he was five. His work as Louis Morales on The Walking Dead was uncredited, but it gave him exposure to a television audience.

Lomax made his feature-film debut in Playing for Keeps in 2012, playing Lewis, the son of Gerard Butler’s character. Director Gabriele Muccino selected Lomax after an search for a child actor who could deliver a natural and relatable performance. The role marked his first film opportunity. In 2013, Lomax appeared in Safe Haven as Josh, the son of Josh Duhamel’s character. The romantic drama was based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks and gave Lomax another role alongside established actors. Safe Haven can be considered one of his breakthrough films because it increased his visibility with audiences.

Lomax continued building his career with roles in 99 Homes, Little Savages, and The Tale. In 99 Homes, he played Connor Nash, the son of Andrew Garfield’s character, in a drama about the effects of the American housing crisis. Lomax later appeared in Trial by Fire and the Secret Society of Second-Born Royals, where he played Mike. He appeared in The Man in the White Van as Mark Newsome. In an interview, Lomax said that working on 99 Homes helped him feel more established as an actor because he was old enough to understand the issues explored by the film. He studied performing arts and continued developing his interests beyond acting.
