9/11 (2017) is a drama thriller directed by Martin Guigui and inspired by the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. The film follows five strangers who become trapped in an elevator inside the World Trade Center as the attacks unfold around them. Among them are Jeffrey, a businessman, Eddie, a maintenance worker, and Eve, a mother. The group struggles with fear, confusion, and distrust as they realise that the elevator has stopped and they cannot escape. With no way of knowing what will happen next, the five people must put aside their differences and find a way to communicate with the outside world.

Despite being warned to stay hidden, 9 ventures outside and encounters 2, another doll who helps him understand their strange existence. When 9 accidentally awakens a terrifying machine called the Beast, he realises that his actions have placed the entire group in danger.

During his first club performance, he freezes on stage and cannot deliver his lyrics. Embarrassed by the experience, Jimmy begins questioning whether he has what it takes to succeed as a rapper.

The team members include a former spy, a doctor, a hitman, a thief, and a soldier, each bringing different skills to their missions.

When mysterious warriors arrive and kidnap Evolet along with several villagers, D’Leh refuses to accept her loss. Although frightened and uncertain, he decides to follow the kidnappers and rescue those he loves. His journey takes him far beyond the familiar mountains and introduces him to unfamiliar landscapes, dangerous animals, and civilizations.
